CHRISTMAS PARTY NIGHTS
These ticket only events are in the main wine bar. They start at 7pm we will welcome you with a glass of sparkling and live music which continues throughout the evening. At your table you can enjoy party games and delicious, fresh food from the Michelin-trained (and wine bar favourites) Bah Bah Mezze with a festive twist on their award-winning Persian menu. But you won’t stay sat down for too long as the party cranks up and the dancing continues in to the night! Drinks on the night are table service as usual and you can also pre-order drinks for your table including magnums if required.

With oodles of regional flavour; Portugal’s red & white wines are emerging from the shadow of Port. Tonight we taste six wines (3 red, 3 white) that showcase some of those different styles of wines.
25th October. The Hidden Gems Of Croatia & Slovenia with Sommelier Sam. £35
With wines as beautiful as their countries of origin, its amazing that these are so often overlooked here in the UK. But not here! Join us for a fantastic night of wine discovery…
8th November. Southern Rhone Showcase with Sommelier Sam. £35
Time to get under the (grape) skin of the wine region that includes Chateauneuf-du-Pape but has so much more to offer. (2 whites, and 4 reds)
*Thursday* 21st November is BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU DAY. £40 per 2 people.
Come & share in one of the wine worlds great traditions. The third Thursday of November is Beaujolais Nouveau Day. £40 gets you a lovely bottle of freshly squeezed Beaujolais Nouveau to share alongside a selection of French regional cheeses. It’s French music all night. Donning a béret is encouraged 🙂

ABOUT US
Whilst a wine merchant by trade (Est. 2007); in recent years we have added a wine bar with a couple of roaring fires throughout the winter & a 200 year old courtyard which we open up each spring. It is a fairly bustling place full of like-minded souls enjoying a good glass of something, in good company with great music.
The Wine Bar
Inevitably, there is a focus on wine at our bar, and we have whittled our trade wine offering of 500+ wines down to around 80 wines on the bar list at any one time. We also have six beers on draft, and many an artisan spirit including our own London Dry Gin going by the name of ‘The Uncommon Thread’ which rolls in at 44%. Talking of spirits… If you are a fan of Whisky then the ‘Cage Of Age’ may be of interest! We have a rapidly expanding range of around 60 Whiskies – and if you happen to be keen on the budding English Whisky scene, you will find plenty of examples to try here. If you are fancying an evening off the above, then we have various 0/Low options including local Kombucha Mocktails & a lovely 0% ‘Spirit’ from Pentire in Cornwall.
Food
Our artisan cheese & charcuterie board displays the wares of legendary local cheese Shop; Morgans alongside fine Italian produce from Vallebona in Wimbledon, we also sell bowls of sun-dried tomatoes, stuffed red peppers & Olives to go with your wine.
Wine Tastings (see latest tasting dates above)
We run wine tastings from our Distillery Room next door to the original wine bar. There’s always at least a couple of hours of informative fun to be had at our tastings with half a dozen interesting wines tasted alongside accompanying Charcuterie & cheese. Wines are presented by a mixture of hosts from in-house, winery representatives, sommeliers, wine educators and the occasional visiting wine-maker.
Private Hire Of The Distillery Room
The 70 seat Distillery Room is available for private bookings at certain times January to November.
