Müller-Catoir, a family estate since 1744, is now led by ninth-generation owner Philipp David Catoir.

The estate lies in the village of Haardt. Situated at the foot of the Palatinate Forest, the neo-classically styled manor house overlooks some of the very finest vineyards in the Pfalz, in the villages of Haardt, Gimmeldingen, and Mussbach.

Müller-Catoir’s philosophy is one of patient dedication. Meticulous, seasonal vineyard tasks, performed entirely by hand, are followed by selective hand-harvesting. Slow fermentation and long cellaring follow, and this unhurried approach, applied to their wines made exclusively from their own estate-grown grapes, results in the signature Müller-Catoir style: highly refined, mineral-driven & elegant.

Haardt Riesling is typically bone dry, with lots of vibrant minerality. Fragrant notes of apricot, peach & pear also appear lush & rounded on the palate, with the fruit flavours all underpinned with a rich vein of mineral freshness. There is a vibrant & moreish dryness on the finish.
